PROVIDER DRUG EXCLUSION LIST

The following drugs will not be paid for by Blue Cross of Jamaica Limited:

• Anti obesity drugs (unless prescribed by A Cardiologist)
• Anti smoking agents
• Bandages, gauze and dressing agents.
• Contraceptives (execpt Diane 35, if prescribed by a Dermatologiest)
• Diagnostics agents, therapeutic and artificial devices
• Enemas & Laxatives
• Fertility drugs
• Inoculations and vaccinations
• Mouthwashes, eyewashes, gargles, lozenges and oral sprays (execpt Benzydamine HCL solution/spray)
• Powers, somatic items and other miscellaneous items such as bleaching preparations, toothpaste, corn and wart removers.
• Pregancy Test
• Preparation for diaper rash
• Rogaine
• Vitamins and vitamins preparations (unless in conjunction with antibiotic therapy and pregnancy)
• HIV drugs
• Anti-Flu preparations.

NB. Drugs which are not duly registered, will not be covered by Blue Cross of Jamaica Limited
